ABOUT: WHAT IS THE FESTIVAL ABOUT?
We are local owned and operated company that will guarantee we will do our best to make you walk away from our festivals happy and fill of imagination. We offer a wide range of amusements to keep you occupied and interested while at our festival along with the attitude of we can do it bigger and better each time. The festival will have a winter theme along with global warming knowledge so you yourself can learn about the impact on earth and besides what else would you want to be doing on a hot and sticky day apart from coming on down to a bit of playing in the snow and keeping the kids out of your hair for the day. A breather!
WHERE WILL IT BE LOCATED?:
Cranbourne raceway on Grant street is where you will find it located. For more information please take note of the map provided.
WHAT AGE CAN ATTEND OUR FESTIVAL?:
Children of all ages can attend the event. We will have to junior snow pits 1-5 and 6-11 and then to open snow pits 12 and above. Junior pits will have to have a adult or person above the age of 13 attend with them.
WHEN WILL IT TAKE PLACE?:
The event is going to take place 18 January through to 29 January 2017 from 10am through to 6pm daily. It is essential that you take the opportunity to secure your place.
HOW MUCH ARE THE TICKETS?:
Ticket prices are as follows:
Online price – $21.00 pp, order 4 or more and the price is $17.50 pp
At the gate – $25.00 pp
SESSION AND DATES CHANGES ARE NOT POSSIBLE DUE TO THE NUMBERS OF PEOPLE ATTENDING THE VENUE. TAKE CARE AND PLEASE CHOOSE CAREFULLY.
WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS FOR THE EVENT?:
Through Our website that has a link on the dates or go to the links provided on the Facebook site and yes you can come in on the day to get your ticket but word of advise get in early as we are expecting to sell out fast.
IS THERE A CONCESSION PRICE OR A FAMILY PRICE?:
No there is no concession or family ticket as a option but the options to purchase tickets for a lesser price are included in the 4 or more price. We offer children under 2 years of age free so please take note our online purchase price is saving you a bundle compared to daily price at the gate. You can register for our VIP by signing up and receiving our newsletters on up and coming events.
WHAT IF I LOSE MY TICKETS?:
There will not be any duplicate tickets for lost, stolen or damaged tickets. We recommend that you keep a copy on your phone just in case you get to the event and the tickets are left on the bench. This will enable us to use the bar code and or the email to verify that you have indeed purchased the tickets and therefore will be issued with a ticket of entry.
CAN I GET A REFUND OR TRANSFER MY TICKET?:
No all tickets will be non-transferable and non-refundable and will also not redeemable for cash.
WILL WE ACCEPT COMPANION CARDS/HEALTHCARE/PENSION CARDS?:
No we have decided that we keep our price to a very minimal price so we can still offer a lot for the price of products inside. We do understand that situations can take a hold on families and have worked our prices in with family situations and holidays what impact that has on the household. We do however want to make sure that adults be present for the smaller pits due to health and safety.
WHAT DO YOU WEAR?:
We know it maybe hot but the snow is going to be wet and cold so please dress or at least bring a spare change of clothes as it could be wet. There is no need to purchase clothes especially for the snow festival as this is a cost you do not need. Gumboots work really well in the snow pits so you don’t get wet feet,
CAN I TAKE FOOD FROM THE CUPBOARD AT HOME?:
Yes you can bring snacks and lunch from home but there will also be coffee, food all day offered from the raceway along with popcorn, snow slushies, candyfloss and plenty more BUT please take not no takeaways will be permitted to the raceway.
CAN I TAKE DRINKS INTO RACECOURSE/FESTIVAL?:
Water bottles are permitted to the event but any coffee/drinks purchased prior to event will have to be left in the car.
RAIN OR SHINE?:
We will offer a venue that caters to all aspects of weather but regardless of the weather we will continue with our program every day.
WILL I HAVE ANY OTHER THINGS TO PAY FOR ON THE DAY FOR THE EVENT?:
There is a ice fishing game that will reward your child with a pressie but everyone is a winner. Apart from the food, tea and coffee etc that is offered the price of the ticket will include all.
The ticket includes entry to the snow pit one 25 minute session but this can be used anytime during your visit as we have pits open every 15 minutes. Further entry to pits can be purchased at the front desk/reception for a special price of $10.00.
ARE THERE CHANGING FACILITIES FOR BABIES AND ATM’S?:
Yes there are ATM’s but we also offer eftpos facilities throughout the venue. The changing facilities for children and babies are located in the main building of the racecourse.
IS IT FULLY ACCESSIBLE FOR PRAMS AND WHEELCHAIRS?:
Yes it is accessible for all avenues of disabilities along with parents and prams.
IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE VENUE?:
Yes there is and guess what it is free at the Cranbourne raceway.
DO WE WERE SHOES OR SPECIAL CLOTHING?:
No you do not need to purchase clothes for this event as you can just wear what is in your wardrobe but please be aware it will be a day of all weather conditions which will involve water and sun. Gumboots are a good thing to have for the pits.
DO I NEED TO ARRIVE EARLY?:
Book early to make sure you have a guaranteed spot as tickets will sell fast and early bird gets the worm discounts.
